Upon uploading the file I would like to have signed, it appears to be broken and Docusign cannot show a preview or allow me to place any of the necessary fields onto the document. Has anyone had this issue before?

Greetings,

This sure doesn’t look like expected behavior! Is it happening with every document or just a particular one you add into the envelope?  As a little bit of side information: Once a document is uploaded into an eSignature envelope, it is converted into a PDF for display and adding of electronic signatures.

My first recommendation is simply to clear the cache and cookies from your browser.  Browser complications can have all sorts of strange effects on any number of web applications, Docusign included.  Do that and log out/log into Docusign and see if it makes a difference.  Try on a different browser too and, see if the behavior is replicated.

If the issue is only occurring with one document, it could be a problem with the document itself.  Try making a copy or changing the file type, if possible, or upload a new version to your computer.

If it helps, here is a list of file types acceptable to be uploaded in Docusign envelopes.

Good luck!
