Multiple Check Boxes using AutoPlace - All get checked when 1 is checked?

I have a 300 page pdf I send out to 60 people. They all need to sign off on the pages they are responsible for. I created a template to assign the signatures and check boxes for each signer via AutoPlace:

Signer1 signature mapped to \s1\, Checkbox mapped to \cb1\

Signer2 signature mapped to \s2\, Checkbox mapped to \cb2\

etc.

Signature works great, if they have 3 pages they need to sign they are prompted 3 times to sign.

For checkboxes for some reason when they check the first box it automatically checks them all. Is there an option to make them check each box individually? The number of boxes per user varies.

(I have the same issue with drop downs, they select 1 value, and they all get set to that value).

@rhyson4

Make sure that the Label for the Checkbox is not the same for both checkboxes.

There are multiple checkboxes automatically added to the document via AutoPlace every time it sees \cb1\ for example. Are you saying after I apply the template I need to go in and rename each of the checkboxes?

@rhyson4

Yes, asking for you to check there to see how it is being created.

Alternatively, you can also check this setting under Sending Settings.

I don't seem to have that setting but it looks like a radio button in the screen shot and I believe I would want them both unchecked for it to work correctly (which I assume isn't possible).

Hi @rhyson4,

Thank you for following up.

In this scenario, you will need to create a custom field for each field that you want the signer to fill out individually, and assign it their own anchor text in the document.

This will allow the signer to fill out each field individually, as these will be separate to each other and will own their own data label.

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Best regards,
