Has there ever been a time when you wanted categorize and identify the envelopes you send for signature? As an account user, have you wanted a way to assist in searching for/or tracking with reports the envelopes that you sent? Or as an Account Admin, you wanted to run reports specific to the different types of envelopes sent i.e. Department, Region, Customer Accounts, etc? If you answered yes to any of the above, well guess what, YOU CAN!

You can do this by creating Envelope Custom Fields to use when sending an envelope or a template.

  • You can create them as an Account Admin to use for yourself or share with other account users
  • Envelope custom fields aren’t visible to the customer when signing
  • Only the sender, users with shared access, and account administrators can see envelope custom fields and values in the envelope details view.

It is an easy process to create them, and you will see how easy in the following video:

Key Take-aways:

  • Envelope Custom Fields will definitely help you in organizing and keeping track of sent envelopes whether if sent from different regions, different account numbers, different departments, and so on.
  • As an Admin, Envelope Custom Fields can be used in separating out reports or searching for specific accounts, and much more.
