Have you ever wondered how to sign a document electronically with someone you are with in the same room without the need to print or scan the document ?
In that case, the In Person Signing feature is what you want !
To conduct an in person signing session, you get together with your signer or signers, and you initiate the signing session from your device. As the host, you start the signing session and guide your signers through the process.
Take a look at this Trainer Tip video in which Product Trainer Erik Engelstad shows you how to prepare and conduct an In Person Signing session in Docusign eSignature.
Key Take-aways:
- If you are meeting in person, you can use In Person Signing to simplify the signing process.
- The host must be a Docusign account holder.
- As the host, you start the signing session and guide your signers through the process.
- If a signer provides their email address, they receive an email notification when the envelope is completed.
- The host's identity for an in person signing session is recorded on the envelope Details and the Certificate of Completion.
