Salesforce: Signature, initial, and date tags on template not showing up when sent through envelope.

Recipients have to add the sign, initial, and date tags themselves. Wasn’t a problem when I didn’t use the envelope.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, I understand that when you sent with Salesforce, your recipients had to add the sign, initial, and date tags themselves. Wasn’t a problem when I didn’t use the envelope.

 

Did you create the envelope from scratch in Salesforce or use a template in Salesforce?

 

Can you provide the current Docusign for Salesforce version that you are using?

I created the DS Gen Template with a Word doc, merge fields, signature tags, and a button, tested, and it worked without having the signors put tags in. 

Then created the Envelope template. The signature tags didn’t work. The signors had to add tags themselves.
