Today our site is integrated with Salesforce. We use Powerforms to collect data>eSign and send data to Salesforce. The issue we have is Powerforms does NOT support email address uniqueness validations when a customer is filling out multiple email fields (aka: 3 fields for email, each must have a unique email address) which is critical to our process. It appears Acrobat forms will allow this validation process when the user fills out the Acrobat form.

We would like to use Acrobat interactive forms to replace Powerforms but cant seem to find anything that outlines that process. We are NOT looking at setting up a PDF and inserting Powerform fields (that is our current issue), we need the Acrobat form to perform the validation, then save the data to SF and have customer eSign using DocuSign

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I understand that you are looking to integrate your PDF form with Salesforce, and I will gladly share more details on the available option.

I am unaware of any automated way to capture data through Adobe PDF forms for it to be saved in Salesforce.

However, if you are looking to allow your recipient to include their 3 emails in your records, you are welcome to do so through a text box merge field.

By setting up a custom text box connected to a field in your object record you will be able to allow the signer to add as many email addresses as needed and have these responses reflected in your Salesforce record.'

For more details on how to work with merge fields, see:

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Thank you for using DocuSign, we hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

Best regards,

We are not looking for a way to enter multiple email addresses. We have that.

We need a way to validate that each email listed is unique. Powerforms does not allow validations on text fields. That is why we are looking at Acrobat Pro forms as it does support validating text fields via java script.

Hi,

Thank you for following up.

You are correct, DocuSign eSignature text fields are only validated through REGEX at this moment.

However, feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always more than welcome.

I encourage you to take into consideration submitting your idea to be reviewed by our development team for possible implementation.

We’ll provide it to the Product team that is closely aligned with the area associated with the feedback. They will review it and determine the next steps.

In the near future, we will have a Community section that is dedicated to customer suggestions/feedback. You all will have the ability to upvote on what’s important and needed.

If you’re a DocuSign Administrator for a corporate plan, you have the additional option of filing your request directly when you’re logged into your account. You’ll be able to click the “Give Feedback” button at the bottom of the screen in order to submit your idea.

Please don't hesitate in letting me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I will address them as soon as possible.

Best regards,
