Info about emails limit

Hello Docusign Community 

 

Could anybody guide me please to know where I can find our limit for emails sent via the DocuSign account to our customers, and how many emails were sent via the DocuSign account? Is there any standard report to know this info?

Thank you for getting back to me. Do you mean you would like to know how to limit the email notifications sent to recipients, where to see how many email notifications were sent, and if there's any standard report in Docusign? If so, only recipients can control and adjust their notification settings from their DocuSign accounts. Only they have the power to disable any notification that they do not want to receive. Article: Manage Docusign email notification preferences 

 

At present, we do not have a standard report available for email notifications in DocuSign, I sincerely apologize. We understand that receiving too many emails can be overwhelming for recipients. To help alleviate this, you can adjust the reminder time frames as a sender. For instance, instead of daily reminders, you can set them to be sent every 2 days. However, as mentioned, only recipients can control what emails they want and do not want to receive.

I understand your concern about the standard report for emails sent, and the email limit of your Docusign account. 

 

We do have a Standard Report of Account envelope usage. However, we do not have a report to pull the remaining unused envelope totals. But don't worry because an Administrator can run an account usage report and compare it to the number of envelopes purchased. You can also reach out to your Account Team to provide that information.

 

To create a report showing how many envelopes your account has used:

  1. Log into your Docusign account as administrator and select Reports.
  2. Select Usage from the options on the left, and then select the Account Activity Report.
  3. Use the date filter (the dropdown on the left with the default value of Month to Date) to select the date range you wish to see.
  4. Select Run Report. The Envelopes Sent column will display the number of envelopes your account used during the selected timeframe.

Note: You can use the Save As button to save this as a custom report. Custom reports can be scheduled to automatically run at regular intervals, and send the results to you via email. See this guide for more details on how to schedule a report.

Hello Melanie, 

Thanks for responding to my question. My question was not about the envelopes sent, but it was about the emails sent from the DocuSign account. Does Docusign have a limit on the emails sent to the signers? If so, how can we access that info on the DocuSign account portal? As you know, with each envelope sent to a signer, there are multiple emails sent, a first email to open the document, a second email when the envelope is completed, an email sent when the envelope is rejected, etc.

Yes, my question was about the limit or emails sent by Docusign to the recipients, not the envelopes themselves.  I am aware already that only recipients can control and adjust their notification settings from their DocuSign accounts and thanks for your advise for adjusting the reminder time frames as a sender.
