Sender name duplicated

I am sending a purchase of sale agreement to a seller. I am a sender and a signer, when the email comes in from docusign it says “message from Zachary Saunders, Zachary Saunders”     I need to remove the duplicated name, any ideas? I have my name entered correctly on my profile and in the recipient list. I think this may be happening because I am the sender as well as a signer.

I tried to reproduce your scenario, but I couldn’t get the same issue even using my username as sender and signer in the same envelope.

How did you send such envelope? Using a Template? If so, you need to verify how the template is configured.

I’m sending a purchase of sale agreement to the seller. I need to sign it as well because I am the buyer. I tried using a template and without. When I switched my docusign profile name to add a middle initial, it comes up first, but still has the extra name. “message from Zachary D. Saunders, Zachary Saunders” The email I’m using for me, the buyer, is a google workspace email @amberwindventures.

In the home page, click on your initial icon in the top right corner then click on Manage Profile, see how your name is there, if needed update it. If the issues still happening then I’d suggest to you open a ticket with our support team. Also, verify if you have more than one account using the same email address, if so, correct the name in the another account too.

I have double checked my name is correct and not duplicated on my profile. When I try to start a case it says my account type does not allow support. Are there any other options? I just signed up for my plan today.

Hello,

I am running into the same issue where the envelope I send to my client says “Message from: My Name, My Name”

I am using a single signer template, sent to one person.

You need to change your “account name “ in the admin account settings. then it will show your name, your business name” its not duplicating the name but showing your profile name, followed by your account name.
