I see that when I am in a SharePoint list I can do mappings but when I am in a Document Library that option in the SharePoint integration does not exist.  Is there a way to add a field in a document library, a people column and then select the PDF, request signature and have it mapped to the email address next to the PDF? or does this only exist in a SharePoint list with an attachment and people column.  Need to automate a standard response.

I am sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to map your SharePoint document’s data to your eSignature template, but I will share more details on the topic. Data Mapping is compatible with Lists only, for other scenarios we recommend enabling the “Copy Document Metadata” option in your Docusign for SharePoint settings, more details on this option can be found below:
