IDNow is rejecting my wife's Philippines passport

Unable to sign an urgent document because IDNow is rejecting my wife's Philippines passport (type or origin of document not accepted).. what can we do ?

I understand you cannot sign an urgent document as IDNow is rejecting the Philippine passport (type or origin of document not accepted). I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

 

Rest assured, IDnow does accept the Philippine passport as per the list here IDnow - Simple & Safe Online Identification. Can you please check if you are using one of the versions below:

PHL-AO-02001-03001

PHL-AO-04001

Passport Generic

Hello Melanie, and thank you for the answer and details :)

I had found that page while trying to sign, but it does not tell me how to find out what version a passport is.. and I cannot find mention of a version on the passport :|

In this case a DFA issued 2018 biometric regular passport..

I’d still like to find out though, so that next time I can avoid driving many kilometers with wife and baby to sign something we could have signed electronically,

I completely understand, and I do apologize. Docusign does not conduct the verification, but you can check the Subtype here: Council of the European Union - PRADO - Search by Document Country in the Register of European ID Docs - PHL - Philippines • REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS • - A

 

The version type of your passport is currently not supported.
