Get An Email Notification When Any Of The Recipients Sign The Document

As a document sender, I would like to receive a notification when any of the recipients sign a document.

Scenario:

  • There are two recipients without order
  • Once one of the recipients signs we need the other to perform a certain action offline before signing the document 

We just had a situation where we lost of 7 days of revenue for a big account because we missed a signature by 7 days.

I am genuinely shocked that DocuSign, the industry leader in digital document signing, lacks such a basic and essential feature. Not receiving a notification when a recipient signs — only after all parties have signed — is a major oversight. This is not a nice-to-have; it is a fundamental part of document workflows. It is incredibly frustrating and disappointing that something so critical is missing from a platform of this scale and reputation. I would expect far better from DocuSign.
