Thanks to those who were able to join us last Thursday for our latest FINS Peer Group meeting!  Below is a recap of some of the topics that were covered (with names removed to protect privacy).  Feel free to continue the conversation here or start a thread regarding a new topic!

  1. Benefits between siloing (having separate accounts) vs keeping everybody in one account.
    1. Feedback: Only silo where technically required.
  2. ​​​​​​​One department doesn’t want to give their users the ability to upload documents. 
  3. Setting up accounts around auto-provisioning when using multiple sub-accounts.
  4. Need for bulk updating of bulk user groups at org level.
  5. Remote Online Notary:  Some customers are testing across states currently. Docusign’s New Notary Connect offering was mentioned.
  6. Momentum Feedback
  7. IDV Verification - Did DocuSign use pilot user groups with older users with IDV?
  8. In-branch signing: Some branches are using digital account opening in branches with in-house signing.
  9. Credit Union with older demographic customer base and is just getting started. Wants to know if anyone has had to deal with the issue of “demonstrable consent” for in-person digital signing? Also interested in hosted sessions information, but having issues with legal team. 
  10. Question about data verification.
  11. Power Automate - Has anyone used this? 
    1. Feedback: One customer is using it to upload completed envelopes to Sharepoint. More powerful than Agreement Actions. Can also create documents with Power Automate.  Asked about difference between Power Automate and Maestro and building workflows.  Another customer using Power Automate internally where signature is not being used.

Thank you for the recap of last Thursday's FINS Peer Group meeting. It was very informative, and I appreciate the opportunity to continue the discussion.   I welcome questions and comments on the following topics discussed at the meeting:

  • Mutiple accounts creation
  • Account auto-provisioning
  • Bulk user updates
  • Momentum feedback in NY (Loved it)
  • Power Automate

One thing I thought of after the meeting was one of the reasons we silo our accounts is to make it easier to break down charges for each area for usage.  We provide envelopes sent numbers to Accounting at the beginning of each month, for the previous month, so each business unit using DocuSign can share in the costs for envelopes they use.  Not sure if others are doing the same, but it has helped make it easier for us.

@Christina Griffith - yes!  We meet every other month on the second Thursday from 1-2:30pm ET.  Our next meeting will be July 11th.  We’ll post the registration form here as soon as it is LIVE.  I hope you can join us!
