SMS Authentication Phone Number Validation

Is there any kind of data validation on the DocuSign side for the EnvelopeRecipient smsAuthentication.senderProvidedNumbers array? Does this field assume the values in the senderProvidedNumbers array are valid phone numbers?

 

We are working to support both international and domestic phone numbers, and wanted to know if there was any kind of formatting or other validation logic for this field, i.e. adding a “+” for international numbers, to account for.

@mcanizales - From my understanding,  DocuSign indeed assumes the values provided are valid phone numbers. The responsibility for validating and formatting these numbers typically lies with the sender or the system integrating.
