We're sending contracts to our clients and want the date to be automatically applied alongside their signature, without requiring a separate date field. How can we achieve this?

We explored the ‘Signing Settings’ option in the admin portal but couldn’t find the "Show signing date in signature" option. Could this be related to our subscription plan, or can it be enabled by requesting support?

@sokinlegal

Unfortunately, it is not possible to show the date in the signature. However, to achieve this, you need to add a signed date field in addition to the signature field

If you're using Docusign Auto Place, you can automate this process and use a single anchor text to add both the signature field and the signed date field. Ideally, you will set up a template for your users to apply.
