Docx file corrupted after signing - This PDF file is encrypted and can't be opened

Attached sample docx seems to be corrupted after signing and trying to open via microsoft work , the docx has been signed via eSignature APIS.

Welcome to the Docusign Community!

I just downloaded the file. It is a .PDF file not a .docx file. After renaming it for .PDF was possible read it using Adobe or any other .PDF reader.

It seems the App using an API is saving it in the wrong format.

Test it: rename it to .PDF then you’ll can read it.
