Is it that my account plan doesn't have this permission? I could set it up when I first registered my account

I am sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to add Data Labels or Custom Fields, but I will share more details on the topic. These features are available with our Business Pro or Advanced API plans, this is the reason why you lack access to it on the Add Fields step of the envelope creation process.
