Why can't I make check boxes "required"? In a test, person signing, didn't get signposted to the check boxes when using "next" clic so missed them altogether. The check boxes are an important part of the consent form. It won't be valid without them. Thx

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

Checkboxes are optional and can not be set up as required as other standard fields would, you would need to set up a validation for the checkboxes that will make them required (depending on the setup you choose).

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Unfortunately the link you sent won't open for me.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching back.

Can you try opening the link in an incognito window?

I'm not sure what you mean by "incognito window".

Hello,

Thank you for reaching back.

An incognito window or private window is a feature that most browsers have where no cookies or cache can be stored (cookies and cache sometimes create errors).

If you use Chrome you may find your incognito window as follows:

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click the Settings menu at the top right
  3. Click New Incognito Window
