In DocuSign eSignature is there a way to have two text fields and validate that the value in the two text fields does NOT match? We are trying to have the signer enter option one and option two and they cannot be the same option.

Hi Christopher,
Yes, we would like the signer to be able to enter letters or numbers in this field (no special characters). For example, if you enter Red123 in the first field we want to prevent the application from allowing Red123 in the next text field. We need two options, in case option #1 is taken we need a different second option.
Our DocuSign plan is an Enterprise eSignature account. I didn’t see that on the plan sheet you’d provided. So I am not sure if that option is available in our account or not.
Thanks again for the assistance.
Hi
The second text field is mandatory regardless of the information that was entered in the first one correct? the only condition is that it cannot be the same text.

Yes, that is the requirement I am looking to achieve. The other requirement that I’ve successfully got working with a Regex Pattern is the field has to be at least 7 characters and no more than 15 and can only be letter or numbers (no special characters).
Hi
I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you, but after a review there is no option within Docusign to crosscheck text fields, however, any feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always welcome.
We invite you to share your product suggestions and feature requests on our dedicated ideas page (https://community.docusign.com/ideas), where we can collaborate to shape the future of our product together.
