Uploading pdf is removing content from all fields

This is a lease agreement I’ve downloaded from an industry site.  I’ve filled in the fields relating ot the terms of the agreement and just want Docusign for the tenant signatures. When I upload the document, all the content of the existing fields with terms (monthly rent, tenant name etc) all disappear.

Thank you for reaching out here in Docusign Community.

I suggest that you flatten the document to ensure that any active section or fields in it will be disabled and avoid any issue uploading in Docusign’s platform.
