I am sending a client a W-9 but it keeps getting voided before the client can even attempt to sign. An email is sent out saying that I voided the envelope, but I did no such thing. This has happened (3) times now.

Time #1: Sent new template with W-9

Time #2: Copied voided envelope to resend

Time #3: Started over with a new template.

Hi @MTaylor,

Welcome to the Docusign Community!

We are glad to have you here and can't wait to help share as much knowledge as possible.

I am sorry to hear that your envelope is being voided before it is signed by your recipient, but I will assist you in solving the issue.

Your envelope’s expiration settings can be managed in the envelope’s advanced options, as long as an account administrator hasn’t locked the option in the account settings.

For detailed steps on how to manage your expiration settings, see:

Set Advanced Options for an Envelope or Template

If you would like to confirm the reason why your envelope is being voided, you can also refer to its History, or Certificate of Completion.

You can find more details on how to view your History, here:

Envelope History

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Thank you for using Docusign, we hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

Best regards,
