Hello,

I want to hide the download & print button from the post signing experience screen. I have updated the signing resource XML file by marking DocuSign_SigningAllowDownload & DocuSign_SigningAllowPrint as false. (referred : DocuSign Signing Resource File Guide)

As mentioned, these buttons won’t be hidden from recipients who hold an account within DocuSign but I’m able to see the Download & Print buttons on the popup window & don’t have an account within DocuSign.

Any help appreciated.

Regards & thanks,

Mehul Shah

Hey Hengfeng,

Thanks for the response.

I have updated the signing resource XML file by marking DocuSign_SigningAllowDownload & DocuSign_SigningAllowPrint as false. (referred : DocuSign Signing Resource File Guide)

Even after uploading the XML file, the changes aren’t reflecting in the actual experience. The recipient is able to see the download button.

Could you please help ?

Regards,

Mehul Shah

@mehul.shah do you mean no download button in the right panel? could you share a screenshot?

@Hengfeng Ge The buttons on the right corner are the ones which I want to hide from the recipients. Also, I can confirm that the recipient doesn’t hold an account in DocuSign / not a user in DocuSign.

Thanks!

@mehul.shah could you send a test envelope to my email that without register account? I can’t reproduce this workflow.

Hi @Hengfeng Ge, unfortunately, I won’t be able to send out an email to an outside gmail account from our organization.

I’d done a POC around 3rd Oct, 2024 & that time the buttons were hidden (screenshot attached).

But now, when we are trying to do the same, the changes aren’t reflecting.

Could you please help with the information provided ?

Regards,

Mehul Shah

could you record a view how you do it?

Hi @Hengfeng Ge

I was updating some different tags inside the XML.

Now, I’m not able to see download button after the signing is completed when opened in Chrome but able to see the button when opened in Safari.

Do you know if there is any browser specific limitation ?

Regards,

Mehul Shah

could you share the code where you changed? we try to reproduce it. We haven’t meet it before.
