Signature Copied?

Question

I received a new (revised) contract from a vendor stating that it had been renewed (without our knowledge) and signed. When I compare the original, which we do remember signing, and the new one, which we do not remember signing I noticed that the signature looks to have been copied. The original and new contracts have different “DocuSign Envelope IDs” as would be expected, but when I compare the signatures they are absolutely identical, with the same frame number and everything. Would this be evidence of tampering with the document and possibly pasting a signature from the original contract onto the new one? Is there another logical explanation that could possibly explain this?

View the History or Certificate of Completion.To open a support case in the Docusign Support Center, go to the "Get Support" section and select "Open a Support Case". Log in using your Docusign credentials and select a case subject. If you have multiple Docusign accounts, choose the appropriate account to continue.
