Hi there, I have a rather unusual question. I sent a document to a customer for signature an recieved a scanned PDF document with a handwritten signature besides my digital signature coming from docusign. Is it possible to upload this to the envelope, or do I definitely have to ask the customer to use the digital signing process.

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns.

Was the document returned via Docusign? Meaning, did the recipient selected the option to print the document, sign it and scan it to return to Docusign, if they did, the document is valid: Print and Sign Documents

If they just print it, signed it and returned it scanned via an email (and the envelope in Docusign in not completed, it would be up to you accept the document, from Docusign’s side until the envelope is completed it won’t be valid.
