Salesforce - Sign 2 contracts - 1st contract is included in second
Hello,
I have an integration processus with Docusign to sign document which works like a charm.
It is based on model.
When everyone has signed the envelop, the different document are downloaded into the salesforce object as Attachment. Sometimes I need to sign some other contracts but by default it is included the 1st contract already signed.
Any idea where I can change this behavior ?
Thanks a lot
Jerome

Hello @Jerome ,
Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!
My apologies I didn’t understand your request completely. can you clarify?
Are you looking to combine the signed documents into one PDF in Salesforce but have them signed separately or do you want the signer to sign both documents together and separate them in Salesforce?
Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Hello,
Sorry. I will try to make it clearer !
I need to sign two contract separately. Both at different time.
For the first contract, everything is fine, as designed.
At the end, when the contract is signed, the document are downloaded as an attachment into the salesforce object.
Now I want to sigh the second contrat.
I check the preview
Behavior: All the already signed contract (The first one) are added to the envellope and will be send again to our customer
Excepted Behavior: Those files are not attached and send
The only solution I have found is to delete those files from Salesforce, so they are not included in the second contrat.
I hope it helps !
Thanks
Hello @Jerome ,
Thank you for reaching back and for clarifying.
What package of Docusign are you using in Salesforce? You can find this by going to Home > Installed packages.
Are you using Docusign Envelope Template? If so, do you have the option “Attach documents from Salesforce record” enabled?
Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

On the Docusign application (On salesforce !) I do have this option unchecked
Otherwise I didn’t find this field everywhere, can you tell me where to find it ?
Thanks !
Jérôme
Hello,
Any news ? :/
Hello @Jerome ,
Thank you for reaching back and my sincere apologies for the late reply.
Are you using a custom button to send the envelopes? The option a mentioned in my previous post appears when creating/editing a custom button: Step 2 Add Documents to Your Template
Let us know if you need further assistance with this.
