Is there a way to auto populate a signature with an pre signed image? We want one of our directors signatures to be added without them needing to receive a notification.

@VineyPA

This is only possible if you include the image of the signature on the underlying document before uploading it to Docusign eSignature. The signer will not appear in the Certificate of Completion.

If you include a recipient into the signing workflow they will have an action and will receive a notification. The signer will appear in the Certificate of Completion.

Hi @nathaly.monge

Based on this, we’re considering including our organisation’s signature as an image directly within the document prior to uploading it into the template, and then configuring the envelope to require only one signer from the recipient organisation.

We understand that in this approach, our organisation would not appear as a signer in the Certificate of Completion, and only the recipient’s signature would be captured as part of the DocuSign audit trail.

From our perspective, this is acceptable as it significantly reduces administrative overhead while still ensuring the recipient’s execution is tracked and auditable.

Could you please confirm that this approach is supported and compliant from a DocuSign standpoint?

Thanks.
