Is it possible for completed forms to be redirected to a colleagues account when I am out of office? I have annual leave coming up and I am waiting for some clients to sign forms still but if they are completed while i am away, no one in the office will have access to the forms.

You can use the Shared Access feature to set up colleagues to access your Docusign account while you are out of office. The permission “Manage” will probably be sufficient for them to check the completed forms.


Thank you, will using the shared access feature notify them when forms have been viewed/signed? Or so they have to go in and manually check?

They will need to go into Docusign to see this. Shared Access will not trigger email notifications. You may correct envelopes to add your colleagues as CC recipients in the last position if needed, so they will be notified from Docusign via email.

I didn’t get the answer I was looking for unfortunately. I hoped there would be an option somewhere to redirect my notifications from clients  to my colleagues while out of office.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, I understand that want to know if completed forms can be redirected to a colleague's account when you are out of the office.

 

I understand that this might be frustrating, but we have an option that is called Delegated Signing, Docusign eSignature allows you to set up a delegate to sign agreements on your behalf when you are unavailable. Delegated Signing has limitations, such as not supporting CFR Part 11, certain signature types, signing groups, SMS delivery, non-signing roles, multiple levels of delegation, ID verification, and the mobile app. To enable delegation, an account administrator must enable the setting "Allow recipients to assign delegated signer" under the Delegation section in Signing Settings.

 

Delegates receive envelopes to sign on behalf of another account member (the "delegator"). As needed, they can complete the envelope, signing with their own name and signature on behalf of the delegator.

The delegate receives an email notification to review documents on behalf of the delegator. The sender receives a similar notice, informing them that a recipient on their envelope has a delegated signer.

 

But in regards to envelopes sent to other signers with you as the sender unless you add your colleagues as a CC recipient on the signing flow, they will need to access your account to view the envelopes via the shared access as mentioned before.

 

However, any feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always more than welcome. 

 

If you’re a DocuSign Administrator for a corporate plan, you have the additional option of filing your request directly when you’re logged into your account. You’ll be able to click the “Give Feedback” button at the bottom of the screen to submit your idea.
