Hi

quick question…

If Party A, the recipient of a Docusign envelope, needs to sign Document A, but only needs to view Document B (and not to “approve” it - just to view it) is it possible to have Document A and Document B in the same envelope, or do they need to be in separate envelopes? Otherwise the only option seems to have two separate entries for Party A in the routing order (depending on whether they are signing or viewing a document) which is a bit clunky, but seems to be the only option available...

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts!

You certainly can put both documents in the same envelope (it saves an envelope and the respective cost) put a signature tag on Document A, how about an initial on Document B with a “I have reviewed this” tag?

OR you could split this into 2 separate tasks just have 2 recipients with different roles for them e.g. Recipient 1 becomes “Signer” with a Sign task and Recipient 2 becomes “Reviewer” with a View task and route them to the same email address, however, as you say this becomes a little ‘clunky’.

James
