My document shows "completed" and I have the certificate, but when I open the document, I don't see the signature. Could the person have left it blank and submitted it?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I understand that your completed document is not showing the signature on it

It could be possible that the recipient choose to upload a signature and uploaded a blank one, or choose to draw the signature but only added a dot, do you have the envelope ID?

How to find your document’s envelope ID: https://support.docusign.com/en/articles/Where-do-I-find-my-envelope-ID

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

It seems like the signature fields added to the document were not required, they were optional, so it is possible that the signer skipped them and finished the document without adding them if you need the signatures, you would need to send the envelope again for signature and make the fields required: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=ulp1643236876813&topicId=rav1578456503065.html&_LANG=enus

If the envelope was not a previous template then you can create a copy so that you don't have to go through the process of creating it again, however, I do recommend checking the fields: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=oeq1643226594604&topicId=dwd1578456423420.html&_LANG=enus
