Hello, should a signature drawn by mobile phone have authentication seal around the name. Has anyone ever run into that situation where no authentication no time stamp / signed by seal was around the signature?

Hello @Trujustice ,

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

No signature frame is not added if the recipient is signing via a mobile, please view the note of the following article: Signature Adoption and Format

Thanks for responding. Shouldn’t there be some type of time stamp to show that it’s actually from docusign. Why wouldn’t it be sent from Docusign, but sent directly from someone’s personal email?

Hello @Trujustice ,

Thank you for reaching back.

The only way to know if the signature is from Docusign when signing through mobile would be via the certificate of completion. Please view the following image for an example on how the certificate would look like sign a signature signed via mobile:

The blank yellow section would be were the signature would show.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Ok, but nothing on the actual document that was signed?

Hi @Trujustice

That is correct.  Per Nathaly’s previous article, the border surrounding the signature would not be shown when signed with mobile signature on the actual document.  If enabled, this will appear on desktop signing.

As she mentioned, the signer has the ability to download the Certificate of Completion along with the signed document immediately following signing.

Thank you !!
