Hi

I am getting an error when uploading a PDF document.

The PDF I am trying to attach is a flattened version of the XML-based PDF that was created via Adobe LiveCycle.

Here is the error I am getting - "We cannot process that PDF. Please ensure that file is not corrupted"

But the PDF is not corrupted. It is perfectly fine.

Welcome to the community,

I am not familiar with Adobe LiveCycle Documents. It may not be one of our (https://support.docusign.com/guides/ndse-user-guide-supported-file-formats) supported file formats .

You may be able to use our Print Driver feature,  that will basically take a photo of the document and flatten it to a document that DocuSign can recognize. Below is a link to our print driver and user guide.

› (https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/print-driver-quick-start-v3-x) Get the Print Driver Quick Start Guide

› (https://support.docusign.com/knowledgeSearch?by=product&product=docusign_print_driver&topic=all) Using the Print Driver

› (https://www.docusign.net/Download/DocuSignPrintDriverInstaller.msi) Download

If this does not work for you, we would really need to review the specific document. I see that you have a premier support account. You can contact (https://support.docusign.com/login?from=/caseOverview) Support , if you would like us to review the document compatability with DocuSign, in welcome detail.

Thanks for your help,

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes we had asked the support staff and one of the members did reply last week that "Livecycle Forms" format is not supported.

About your "Print Driver" suggestion, the issue is that is needed to be downloaded and we cannot ask our users to download another application.

Using javascript, I am trying to find a way that will generate a "print version" of my livecycle form on a click of a button.

I thought that if you have any API or webservice already available () then we may be able to use that.

Thanks for the background,

We do have a very Robust API. You can view the Training and Documentation for our SOAP and REST API in our (https://www.docusign.com/developer-center) Dev Center

We also actively monitor Stack Overflow, the world's leading developer discussion forum, for questions related to the DocuSign API:

http://stackoverflow.com/tags/docusignapi/info

Search the forums using tag "(http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/docusignapi?sort=newest) #DocuSignAPI" to see if your question has already been answered, or post a new question. You will have the better luck on the Stackoverflow Developer Community, as Javascrpit is out of the scope of most users in the general support community.

Happy DocuSigining,

Hi,

It sounds like you already save it as static.... In case you haven't, try that and it should work.

Hey nope, actually by flattened pdf i meant the with no active interactive elements.. but the pdf is still the xfa pdf.
