I want to be able to confirm and review the text written on a docusign before it being officially signed by myself.

A signer can write whatever they would like in the open text box then sign it, I want to be able to have them write in th text box, sign it, then submit it back to us for review.

My signature is already on the docusign template document fyi.

This sounds like a change needs to be made to the Template workflow by either re-ordering the Recipients or adding a additional Recipient. From the initial post there is a document already signed which is then sent to Signer 1, who fills out a text box and signs, hence completing the envelope. If you want to review that text and be able to reject or make changes then I suggest the following in the workflow....

Create envelope, add attachment or use Template already containing a signature. Set workflow to:

1) Recipient 1 - fills out text and signs

2) Recipient 2 - fills out Initials next to the text box hence reviewing and approving the text. Otherwise you would either void or use document Markup (or comments) to negotiate final acceptance.
