I have a transaction that involves up to 12 templates with 113 unique fields. Many of the same fields appear on multiple templates. A few of them have different routing, so I believe that means they have to be sent in separate envelopes, right? Can the data be shared across envelopes?

I understand you would like to have fields to share data within the same envelope.

Fields with the same Data Label can share data across them, meaning, the recipient would only need to fill in one field and the others will fill automatically: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=gbo1643332197980&topicId=nas1578456281970.html&_LANG=enus

That setting does not appear in my Fields and Properties settings

If that is the case, unfortunately, it is not possible, data can only be shared across documents in the same envelope and if the fields have the same data label.

Feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always more than welcome. 

We’ll provide it to the Product team that is closely aligned with the area associated with the feedback. They will review it and determine the next steps.
