I have DocuSign envelopes that go out to multiple recipient but with the same Message. Is there a way to save a message as part of a template. It is the only thing that will be the same for all envelopes but will be sent out a few hundred times. Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

Yes, you can create a template without the need of adding documents, fields, or recipients, you can create it just for the message and apply it to the needed envelopes, for more information on applying templates, please view: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=gbo1643332197980&topicId=yav1578456266212.html&_LANG=enus

I have the same question as Jackquie. I am trying to send out multiple envelopes to different recipients with the same message.

Per your instructions, I tried to create a template with only the Message field complete, but a file upload was required to save the template.

Can you provide more insight on this? Also, can you please provide an updated support link?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

If it is requesting a document, you can just add a blank Word page or an example document and save it. So when you go to use it you would just need to apply the template to whatever document you need and the message will appear (the document in the template will not appear): https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=gbo1643332197980&topicId=yav1578456266212.html&_LANG=enus
