Hello @Cindy G.,
Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this might cause you, I know the importance of confirming the signature type that was used on an envelope; I understand that you need to check the type of signature of the documents that you recently received.
If you have Security Level: Email, Account Authentication (None), it means that the envelope did not require any authentication type to access the document.
The Certificate of Completion does not explicitly show what type of signature is used, it shows the issuer of the certificate that is applied.
If you have the "Signature Issuer: DocuSign Cloud Signing CA", this means that the envelope uses DocuSign AES Certificate Authority, and for QES the Issuer is "DocuSign Premium Cloud Signing".
And yes if no type is indicated, it is a regular signature.
Note: Some advanced features and options are supported only in specific DocuSign plans. Your account plan might not support some options discussed in this help topic. Contact your account administrator for more information about which options are available for your account. Or, visit our Plans and Pricing web page for more details on the features included with your plan. Compare eSignature plans & pricing.
