What would cause this discrepancy? Cell phone vs desktop/tablet signature?

Suggestions on best practice to upload a signature (such as, sign in black ink on paper and then scan, then upload as opposed to a digital signature)?

Normally when this situation happens is due to the actual size of the document that is uploaded, have you tried to flatten both of the documents and then upload them to confirm if the behavior persists?

If the behavior persists I recommend creating a case with DocuSign Support and scheduling a meeting to review the settings and the process, to determine the cause for this.
