Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I understand that you need some DocuSign eSignature Admin Settings Clarifications.

To answer your questions

While setting the password rules we saw two options, can you please let us know what is the difference between these two options?

Minimum password age (0 or more days)*: The Minimum password age policy setting determines the period of time (in days) that a password must be used before the user can change it.

Enable password expiration Days until password expires*: The Password Expiration setting determines the period of time (in days) that a password is valid before it is required to be changed.

Under Envelope Delivery - Signing Settings Suppress emails to embedded signers.

What does the above statement mean here?

The Embedded Signing pattern introduces a new class of recipients referred to as Captive recipients. Captive refers to the exclusive relationship between the recipient and the sending account. In contrast, non-Captive recipients are DocuSign-global entities that can have recipient relationships with an unlimited number of senders, by default these recipients do not receive email notifications from DocuSign, except in cases specifically called out in this document.

This option enables the captive recipient to receive envelope notifications.

Under Sending Settings Prevent users from forwarding completed envelopes.

 Can you please explain this?

This prevents the user from using the option described in this article Forward a Completed Envelope.

Email Archive Configuration.

Please explain this new feature in simple words.

This feature allows an account to set up email addresses that automatically receive copies of DocuSign email notifications for archiving purposes. When the option is enabled and at least one email address is active, a copy of each DocuSign system generated email sent to a sender or recipient for the account is also sent to the active email archive addresses.

Document Retention Policy - Storage Size.

What is the maximum data size that DocuSign stores in the cloud?

There is no limit, as long as there is no Document Retention policy set or the account is closed, all the envelopes will be stored in your DocuSign account.
