Please provide the site where I can compress files so that I can upload to DocuSign.

Welcome to the community,

Good Question.

Since there is not a hard-set limit on compression, (DocusSign only limits (https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-supported-file-formats) file size , not compression amount) it is a good way to upload larger files.

One Communtiy Member, Kyle Ortman,  has success with  the online compression tool  http://smallpdf.com/compress-pdf

He uses it before every upload!

It reduces your scanned PDF files to 144dpi which is good for uploading files to the web and through email.

Hopefully other users will chime in with their tips.

Happy Holidays,

How much compression you achieve will depend not only the on the archive type you create, but on the application you use to compress it and the settings you use.  If you want to compress something to use as little space as possible, you should definitely use (http://net-informations.com/q/mis/7zip.html) 7z . You can even crank up the compression settings to save even more space, although it will take longer to compress and decompress. Most compression tools have settings to allow you to achieve a higher compression rate at a compromise of slower compression/decompression times and more RAM usage.

Reducing the size of a signed document

How do I reduce the size of a signed document?  I am the sender and I need to email to others in the transaction.  But the file size is too large and I cannot reduce the size because I do not have permissions to change the document.  I just want to reduce the size.
