Hi
Welcome to the Docusign Community!
We are glad to have you here and can't wait to help share as much knowledge as possible.
I am sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to sign your envelope due to this error, but I will assist in solving the issue. This error is triggered when the sender has not enabled the option to sign on paper for an envelope. Taking this into consideration, the sender will be in the best position to help you enable the setting in Settings>Signing Settings>Allow recipients to sign on paper, if it is required to sign the document on paper. Otherwise, you may follow the instructions provided below to sign your envelope through our web application.

Thank you for your quick response and for your attention to this matter.
I just wanted to clarify that I am actually the sender of the document. I sent the envelope to my team for signing, but unfortunately, the signed document came back with all the signatures placed under the wrong names. This happened even though I carefully assigned each signature field to the correct recipient during the setup.
It seems like the fields were somehow misaligned or reassigned during the signing process. I would really appreciate any guidance you can provide to help prevent this from happening again.
Thank you once again for your support.
Best regards,
Carmen
