I sent a DocuSign that requires 10 signatures, and I selected to sign in order 1, 2,3, etc. My fifth signer is holding things up, so I'd like to allow the signers, including the Fifth signer to go ahead and sign it. Can I change the order to make everyone a "1" for the order purposes? Or, is it too late since 4 have already completed the DocuSign signature?

One caveat. I want the 10th signer to be the last signer, so would I make this person #2 in order -- if the correction/update is possible?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

You can apply changes to any envelope or recipient that has not been marked as completed.  In this case yes, you can change the signing order, however, as 4 of them already signed, you can not set them as 1 because 1, 2, 3, and 4 are already assigned and completed, you would need to set all of them as 5 and the 10th recipient as 6.

Once a recipient completes their action (or the envelope), the system will not accept any further alterations.

You can find more details regarding how to correct an envelope, here:
