Can you advise if an Administrator can change the Text name of the person receiving and signing the document? For example: change the first name from Bob to Robert. Can the admin. for DocuSign update the first name or does the person receiving the document to sign have to update their name.

Thank you

The name of the recipient (John Q. Signer) is what is used for the text of the signature. If instead you put "John Signer" as the name then the Q wouldn't be shown in the signature.

Couple of notes. The Sender or Admin (through sharing) can go into the open envelope and (https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-correct-documents) CORRECT the envelope to change the recipient at any time before the recipient signs.  Additionally if the recipient has not yet signed using that name/email combination with your account before when they first select their signature they have the opportunity to change the text of the name being used. Once selected and completed that ability is removed unless an envelope is sent to them with a different name/email combination. DocuSign has a  feature that remembers the signature for a recipient's name/email for each account even if they don't have a DocuSign account so that the recipient doesn't need to constantly choose it.

Hope that's clear and helps.
