Automatically Place Signature Field when Applying Template

Question

I have successfully established a template (Automatic template matching works too.) - I have added signature fields in the template. - The signature fields are on the last page of the document.

The template has, say, 3 pages, so the signature fields are on page 3.

The actual document to be signed might have 5 pages or 10 pages (different every time it needs to be signed). However, the signature fields are ALWAYS placed on page 3 since this is where the fields sit in the template.

Signing on the last page seems like a pretty standard situation. - How can I ensure that the signature fields automatically get added to the last page (the actual signature is always in the same position on that last page).

Okay, I think I have found a solution here, but maybe somebody else is wondering too, so here’s what worked for me.

Create a template with “fewest” number of pages ever needed.

Place fields and use “Auto Place” with a reference term / word.
