If a user sends via email only, SMS allotment doesn't decrease.
If a user sends via SMS (or SMS+email) then they are consuming:
- 1 eSignature envelope.
- 1 SMS envelope.
The SMS envelope encases the eSign envelope.

Thank you. Still a bit confused. Just 1 SMS = 1 SMS and 1 Esign? Just 1 Esign = 1 Esign? Wondering what else SMS's can be used for than if they uses the Esign allotment.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but yes, when an envelope is sent only via email SMS allotment doesn't decrease, only when you use the SMS delivery, the allotment decreases.
In general, we also have authentication using SMS.
