Hi

I am using a Power Form and wanted certain fields to be Collaborative.  I was able to go into settings in the template and enable as Collaborative as detailed in the link below.

Specifically in the link below, it indicates that 

  1. (Optional) If you want all changes to the field to be rerouted to recipients for review and approval, select the Changes Require Initials option.

I have done all of this - but nothing is getting automatically rerouted to prior signers after a subsequent signer makes a change?

Please advise on why this might be happening

After doing a deeper search through Community - I came across this post about Power Forms and the initiating signer not being able to get an email if there were changes….

 

I understand the idea of several approvals, however, what I mean from the previous comment is that Powerforms are usually Direct (the signer clicks the link and goes into the document), by doing so the signer becomes an embedded signer which would not allow the envelope to return to them once the signer completes their action, one of the characteristics of the collaborative fields is that you can choose to have the previous signers initial the changes made to their fields by one of the approvals, but in this case, as the recipient is embedded they can not initial the form and it will remain stuck. If the Powerform has email validation (meaning the signer clicks the link but instead of being taken to the document, they get an email with a link to the document) all of the above can be possible.

 

If this post is correct I would need to enable email validation and ensure the fields are set to Collaborative and require the initials for changes.  This would allow for a automatic email to the first signer to review changes

Does this sound right?  Is there an easier way?
