Last year, I was sent a link to sign a document. I did not sign the document. The link has since expired.

Is there a way to access the original document that I was sent to sign?

I’ve tried a few methods already:

  • Link
  • Using the security access code
  • I created a DocuSign account with the same email that I received the link to, but I still don’t see any documents in my inbox / account
  • I’ve also tried opening a support case, but I believe that is for paying customers. I received a log-in error trying to access the support portal.

I am wondering if there is a way to access the original document I was sent to sign even though I never did sign it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Greetings,

One thing to be aware of is that envelopes will expire if they’re not completed after a certain period of time, which the sender specifies.  If an envelope has expired you likely would have received a follow-up email notification from Docusign about the expiration.

Assuming the envelope is not expired, you will likely have to reach out to the sender and ask them to “resend” you the envelope notification.  Resending an envelope sends a new email, with a fresh link to the person whose turn it is to sign. Here’s some more information on resending, in case it helps you or the original sender.

Hope this helps!
