Hi Team

Our company was recently established as a spin-off from another organization. All of our DocuSign user email addresses currently use the @OldCompany.com domain, and we need to update them to @newcompany.com.

We have not yet created an Organization or claimed the @OldCompany domain. Is it possible to use the Bulk User Edit option to update the email addresses? Additionally, we need to ensure that all documents sent from @OldCompany.com remain accessible under @newcompany.com.

Could someone provide guidance on the steps we should take to achieve this?

Thanks

Vino

Hello @Vino ,

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

To see if I understood correctly, you need to change all users email address to reflect the new email domain but you do not have any domain claimed. You also need them to have access to their account and documents and not create a new account for them, is that correct?

If so, there are certain conditions you and the account need to meet to be able to update email address, otherwise each user would need to do so individually: Update User Email Addresses

If your account meets the requirements, then you can go ahead and update the email address of your users without the fear that they won’t be able to access old documents (they should be able), however, please note that any future documents sent to the old domain will not be stored in the Docusign account: Update Users in Bulk

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.
