Am I wrong or before it was possible to buy some extra envelopes without adding a new user ? Like buying 10 extra and add it to your own account ?

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!
I understand you would like to know if there was a recent change regarding the purchase of envelopes now recurring the purchase of seats.
This was a not a recent change. Adding envelopes will automatically add an additional seat. This becomes a recurring charge on every renewal unless it is removed or adjusted prior to the account renewal date: What happens if I exceed the envelope allowance on my Docusign eSignature plan?

Could you just tell me then what happen if I exceed my 100 envelopes ? Is it automatically adding me a new seat ?

Thank you for reaching back,
If you exceed the envelope limit, it will give you an error informing you that you have reached the limit and request you to add a new seat, but they will not be added automatically.
