I have an envelope that has been completed. On reviewing the document it appears that one of the recipients ‘signed on paper’, however, I cannot see their signature in the execution panel, nor does it appear on the Docusign Certificate of Completion.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Has the document actually been signed in full?

Hello @Little fox ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

When an envelope is signed on paper they will need to Print the document > Sign > Scan the document > Upload on the envelope

You should be able to see the document they signed and scanned at the bottom part of the certificate of completion.

Please take note that this feature can’t determine if they signed the printed document or not.

The system will only recognize that they signed it when they upload the document where most of the common issue they uploaded a blank document.

I hope this helps. Please "Select as Best" below if you find the answer to be useful.
