Hi all,

I have pdf templates to create each month. Every PDF follows the same format, but has different data. I want to create a template in Docusign, so that I can upload the latest month’s pdfs, and get them signed by the same people. This would avoid having to add signature tabs for every pdf for every month. How would I do this - ideally I’d create an anchor signature blocks in the template. However, I have no options to add such anchor signatures while I’m editing my template. Any ideas on how I can achieve this? I can add IDR areas but can do literally nothing else. I feel like I may be missing some functionality - or should I really be doing this within Docusign’s API.

Hello, @Peter_Message

The Anchor’s text must be placed in your .PDF files used to create your templates. I mean, you should edit your .PDF file using a PDF editor to add such anchors where the Docusign esignature fields would be placed automatically using the Auto Place feature present in the envelopes and templates.

After adding the Anchor’s texts in the PDF files, you can use the White font to hide them. Save your PDF file, create an eSignature template, select a field as for example Sign here field, click on the right properties panel in the Localization option then configure, type the Anchor’s text created in your PDF file.

I hope that helps, if so, I’d appreciate your LIKE here.

Best,

Alexandre
