Trouble finding out if I signed usign qualified signature.

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi everyone,

I’ve signed a document a couple days ago, yet I have a problem with finding out whether I’ve used a qualified signature or just clicked “accept” and went on with the process.

Is there a way to find out what I did?

Thanks

In order to have performed a qualified electronic signature (QES) you would have undergone an identification process, e.g. via video identification with or without an agent or a smartcard.

You can actually simply check it by looking at the final document, e.g. opening it in Adobe Acrobat reader and checking if there is a digital, qualified certificate with your name embedded or not.

You can also check the certificate of completion, where it would state if it is a qualified signature.
