HOW do I cross out stuff? I don't see anything in my tools

Thank you for posting your question to the DocuSign Community.

Based on your most recent comment I believe you are investigating the Strikethrough feature, which seems ideal for your needs, rather than the Markup feature which is enacted when an Envelope is in process. Though I believe you may find great value in Markup as well as it is very helpful for Real Estate documents.

To have the Strikethrough feature enabled for your account, please login at https://support.docusign.com and create a support case so we can turn this on for you! You can certainly ask questions about Markup as well and ensure this is also enabled.

DocuSign has a markup feature....https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-document-markup

Also for Real Estate type accounts a strike-through feature...https://support.docusign.com/en/articles/Strikethrough-for-Real-Estate

Not sure the Account type you have which is the basis for some of the Markup functionality, but with the DocuSign articles provided you may be able to do further research.

I have a Real Estate account and yet do not have the MARK UP TOOL.

  1. Click on Markup Tools on the left side.

How should I add it?

I do not have a Real Estate account type and the DocuSign article does not state how this is enabled or disabled. This feature might have to be enabled at the Account level but I could not tell you where. I suggest creating a DocuSign case and asking the DocuSign Support team to provide instructions.
